What is the minimum/maximum amount I can sue for alimony?

The minimum amount you can sue is for an amount equivalent to 40% of a minimum income in the case of one child. If you have more than one child, the minimum amount for each child, will be equivalent to 30% of a minimum income.
The maximum amount may not exceed 50% of the total revenues of the person that will pay the alimony.
However, it is important to know that the amount of alimony is determined according to the economic capacity of both parents.
The Minimum income in Chile from the July 1, 2016, has been set at $ 257.500 (CLP).-
